Lyman Frank Baum

Lyman Frank Baum was born on 15 May 1856, and is best known for writing children’s novels, most notably The Wonderful Wizard of Ozand its sequels. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, published in 1900, is the first instalment in the Oz series.
