Homer

Homer was an ancient Greek poet, traditionally believed to have composed The Iliad and The Odyssey sometime in the 8th century BCE. These two epics tell the story of the Trojan War and the long, perilous journey home of the hero Odysseus, and they are considered the foundation of Western literature.
