The Peacock Feather is a collection of ten short stories that will keep the readers totally captivated and engrossed in its interesting storyline replete with twists and unexpected turns. It explores a wide range of genres, each story having its unique characteristics.
From a bittersweet love story in ‘The Peacock Feather’ to a rags-to-riches story in ‘The Gutka King’; an engineer in the early part of the twentieth century determined to accomplish his mission against all odds in ‘The Accomplisher’; to addressing the issue of the dowry system in ‘The Bridal Gift’.
The authors take the reader through emotional journeys, traumatic experiences and fraudulent manoevres, which depict the true nature of the human beings with all their strength and flaws.
AUTHOR OF THE BOOK
Sunil Kapoor, co-founder at Zenith Global, is a Delhi-based Financial Consultant and Taxation Advisor. He has over 35 years of experience in guiding national and multinational clients with their tax obligations, strategy consulting, real estate transactions and financial structuring. He has had the honour of serving ex-President of India and various Bollywood actors.
Sunil is also actively involved with many NGOs and has been awarded by Khushii (an NGO) and Loins Club of Delhi for his contributions. He has also been awarded for vocal Music by the President of India and performed at live shows in India and Singapore. His hobbies include rendering Piano recitals and reading autobiographies and books.
Sunil graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce an LLB degree from Delhi University in 1981 and has been practicing since then.
Sudhir Kapoor is a Chartered Accountant and a renowned financial consultant with around 30 years of diversified experience. He is an expert in the field of Business Controls Advisory, Audit & Assurance, and Financial Risk Management. His clientele mainly consists of public and foreign companies.
Sudhir is an FCA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
