ABOUT THIS BOOK

The atmosphere filled with a cool aromatic breeze and the holy Ganga flowing nearby adorn the Golden Temple where resides Shree Badrinath, the Lord of the Universe.

The mesmerizing and never-told-before account of the mythology, the traditions and beliefs of the holy shrine, Badrinath.

Shree Badrinath holds foremost eminence amongst the Chardhaam, the four most significant holy places in India. Its significance owes to its being one of the greatest shrines for the Hindus. Hence, it is rightly called Mukti Dham—a place of salvation. The land of Badrikashram (Badrinath) is not only an eminent shrine but also a centre of immense energy. It is the best place to make life better, more harmonious and energetic. All you need is to set out on a pilgrimage. If mere remembrance of Lord Badrinanth, the most prominent deity among the Chardhaam, is powerful enough to liberate a person from all sins, then a pilgrimage would certainly hold manifold merit. This book subtly describes Puranic traditions, beliefs and values of this shrine while taking you on a virtual pilgrimage to Badrinath.
