ABOUT THIS BOOK

In a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world amplified by artificial intelligence (AI), business leaders must harness digitalization to its fullest potential while mitigating its risks, including fake data, cyberattacks and frauds. Embracing data and AI as the new X factors of business requires the ability to not only collect, analyse and process data but also discern its biases.
Technology enthusiasts Amit Kumar Jain and Surbhi Jain draw on multiple real-world example — such as Steve Jobs’ dramatic adoption of the graphical user interface, the origin stories of Uber and Netflix, IBM’s Deep Blue defeating Garry Kasparov in chess, Rolls-Royce’s TotalCare maintenance programme for aircraft engines, and the digital transformation of Amazon and General Electric—to reveal how visionary leadership is essential to foresee rapid changes in the digital ecosystem.
By fostering innovation, agility and adaptability, leaders can drive success through a holistic approach that integrates customer experience, internal processes, product delivery and operational efficiency to navigate a rapidly changing landscape.
Lead Smart in the AI Era is a comprehensive guide for success in an AI-powered corporate environment.
