Shahana Dasgupta, a graduate from Delhi University, holds an LLM degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. She has lived in Berlin, Germany since 1986 and witnessed much of the recent developments in and around Germany. She has contributed article on current affairs to Indian newspapers. She also writes on legal subjects for academic publications in Germany and United States. Apart from a book on India for German school children, she has authored a book titled This India, introducing the vast panorama of the country's culture to young readers.
