Empirical evidence suggests that companies with highly engaged workforces have more performance. How do they make this happen? Initiatives from a complex organization, or something more intimate? With all of the language, procedures, KPIs, and technology in today’s workplace, we have lost a fundamental truth: the value of real, two-way discussions. This book is the result of more than 30 years of learning from renowned companies, tried-and-true leadership coaching methods, and cutting-edge research on employee behaviour and neuroscience. The end product is a straightforward manual that explains why, when, and how to conduct five essential talks with the people you oversee. These discussions have been shown to significantly enhance trust, relationships, motivation, and productivity at work.
