Vandita Dubey is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked with children and families since 1995, when she joined the MA in Social Work programme at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She subsequently completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2006 from the US. She has researched and raised awareness regarding child sexual abuse. She has also practiced psychotherapy, and consulted with schools in the US and India. After seven years in Gurgaon, she chose to move to Kumaon region in the Himalayas to enjoy a simpler life, trail runs and long walks. She continues to practice and live there with her husband, two children and a dog.
