Meera Ravishankar

Meera Ravishankar is a lawyer, an educationist, a language and communication trainer, and a writer and translator. She loves taking on challenges and is happy to straddle many worlds, whether writing textbooks for school children, training corporate, developing content, or translating. Meera has done bilingual translations in Tamil and English. Her notable translations into Tamil are by Chetan Bhagat, Amish Tripathi, Anand Neelakantan, Rujuta Diwekar, and Kevin Missal. Her English translation of Sujata’s Anita: A Trophy Wife has been published by Rupa Publications. Meera bagged the Tamil Nadu State Award for the Best Translator, 2021. Her translation of Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery was released by the governor of Puducherry and at the Kasi Tamil Sangamam by Home Minister Amit Shah.
