Tanushree Podder
Born in New Delhi, Tanushree Podder worked in the corporate sector for eight long years before she quit the rat race to write. A management graduate, she has worn several hats both as an individual and an army wife.
A well-known writer and a TEDx speaker, Tanushree is an avid globetrotter. She has travelled extensively and written hundreds of travel stories for newspapers such as The Times of India, Hindustan Times, and The Hindu. She has also authored 35 books across genres, including military, historical, and crime, for adults as well as young adults. Among her well-known works are Nurjahan's Daughter, Boots Belts Berets, A Closetful of Skeletons, No Margin for Error, The Girls in Green, Thorns in the Crown, Ambapali, Men of Steel and Golden Sportspersons.
Boots Belts Berets has been made into a web series titled Cadets, and The Girls in Green is soon to be adapted into a web series.
Tanushree lives with her husband in Pune.
