Sunita Pant Bansal

Sunita Pant Bansal started writing poems and stories at the age of eight and has not stopped since. Trained in Nutrition, she practiced as a nutritionist for a couple of years before deciding to follow her passion instead. In her four decades of writing career, she founded a weekend newspaper and three magazines, besides editing five magazines, writing numerous articles and producing a short film. Sunita hails from the Kumaon hills of the Himalayas, a region well-known for its crop of litterateurs. With that pedigree, it was no wonder that she started exploring mythology and its impact on our culture.
