
John Barrett
A founding principal at Humanergy, John Barrett is a results-driven leadership coach, trainer and facilitator who partners with individuals, teams and organizations to maximize successful strategies, execution and culture.
John’s experience includes coaching, facilitation and training with executive leaders and teams in Fortune 500 companies, government, healthcare, education and service organizations. John has coached senior and executive leaders to leverage their strengths, manage their weaknesses and successfully influence their peers, resulting in trajectory-changing outcomes and expanded impact.
Before Humanergy, John founded Starr Commonwealth’s EverGreen Center for Personal and Professional Development, developing leadership bench strength throughout the United States. Prior to EverGreen, John worked as Director of Evaluation and Corporate Programs at Outward Bound Australia.
John is a graduate of The Australian National University with a B.S. Honors degree in psychology. He co-authored "What Great Teams Do Great" and "50 DOs for Everyday Leadership: Lessons Learned the Hard Way (So You Don’t Have To)", now in its second edition.
