Jitendra Dixit

Jitendra Dixit is Editor-West India for ABP Network. He has been reporting on conflicts and calamities for over twenty years. His reportage includes coverage of the Gujarat riots (2002), Mumbai serial blasts trials (2007), 26/11 terrorist attacks (2008), the tsunami in Japan (2011) and the Kedarnath Tragedy (2013). As a part of his journalistic assignments, Dixit has covered almost every landmark event of Kashmir during the past 10 years, ranging from the last assembly elections of undivided J&K to the aftermath of the Pulwama terrorist attack and the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019. In 2015, he won the prestigious RedInk Award for his documentary on elections in Kashmir. Dixit has done his master’s in political science from University of Mumbai. He has earlier worked with the India Today group.
