Iqbal Syed Hasnain

Iqbal Syed Hasnain is a Padma Shri awardee and an acclaimed researcher on Himalayan glaciers and climate change. He is a former pro-chancellor of Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, and former vice-chancellor of University of Calicut, Kerala. He presently serves as a member of the board of trustees, The National University of Science and Technology, Muscat, Oman. He resides in New Delhi.
