Dr Palani Arangasamy

Dr Palani Arangasamy is an alumnus of Mayuram Oriental College and Annamalai University. Studied for Tamil Vidwan, B.O.L., and M.A., in English Language and literature. Did his doctorate on Shakespeare in Madurai University. Taught English in College and Universities. Professor of Translation in Tamil University Thanjavur. Served as Visiting Professorin the Dept. of Indology. Cologne University Germany in 2015. More than 30 books both in English and Tamil, he has contributed. The Govt. of Tamil Nadu gave him translation Award in 2019 and the SRM Institute honoured him with G. U. Pope Translation Award in 2021. Literary criticism, translation, poems, essays, journalism and biographies are the subjects of his endearment.
