His career spans various sectors, including print media, petrochemicals, FMCG, refractories, cement and steel. He has deep expertise in employment law, industrial and employee relations, people processes, and talent management. 

Author of Contract Labour, Deepanjan is also a regular contributor to leading HR journals and professional forums, writing on labour laws, workplace dynamics and contemporary HR challenges. He frequently engages with academic institutions and industry platforms, sharing practical insights drawn from decades of frontline leadership experience. 

He was awarded the Future CHRO Award (2024) by CXO Lanes for his contributions to the HR profession.
