Amit Batra

Amita Batra is Professor and former Chairperson at Centre for South Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). She has published extensively on international trade policy issues and economic integration in South and Southeast Asia. Her most recent book is India’s Trade Policy in the 21st Century (2022, Routledge: London). She writes a column, ‘Straight Talk’, in Business Standard.
