A.D. Padmasingh Isaac

A.D. PADMASINGH ISAAC is the founder and managing director of Aachi Masala Foods Pvt. Ltd, a `1,000-crore-plus company (www.aachifoods.com), which he founded in 1996. It directly employs around 3,500 people in its various manufacturing facilities in Ayanambakkam and Gummidipoondi, Chennai. Mr Isaac worked in the early 1980s for Godrej Consumer Products. As a first-generation entrepreneur he went through a good deal of struggle before he established the Aachi brand. The Aachi Masala brand is quite popular in South India. He is a motivational speaker in many youth fora and holds advisory responsibilities in the Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology, Thanjavur, and the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Haryana.
