SAMIT BASU is a writer of books, films and comics. His debut novel, The Simoqin Prophecies (2003), was the first book in the bestselling Gameworld Trilogy and marked the beginning of Indian English fantasy writing; he has also written the international award-winning superhero novel Turbulence, the graphic novel Local Monsters as well as Terror on the Titanic (Red
