AUTHOR OF THE BOOK

Kavita Kumar was born in 1936 in Rawalpindi (now in Pakistan). A master’s degree holder from Delhi University, she has taught at the Directorate of Correspondence Courses, Delhi University; Lady Irwin College, Delhi; Degree College, Panipat; Janaki Devi College, Delhi, and Government College, Gorakhpur. Having been engaged in the teaching of Hindi as a foreign language to students from all over the world, she has authored the highly popular Hindi for Non-Hindi Speaking People published by Rupa & Co.
