AUTHOR OF THE BOOK

Born in Bombay in 1865, Rudyard Kipling went to England to finish his studies and came back and lived in India for several years. He wrote a number of poems and tales, establishing himself as a writer of repute. In 1907 he became the first ever English writer to win the Nobel prize for literature.
