ABOUT THIS BOOK

Pandit Bhimsen Joshi has always lived for music. As a boy of eleven, he ran away from home in search of a guru. In later years, he underwent unimaginable hardships to emerge as one of the foremost classical vocalists of all times. Even today he calls himself a shagird, for his quest still continues.

AUTHOR OF THE BOOK

Abhik Majumdar is a lawyer by training, and is currently doing research on intellectual property issues. He learnt tabla from Shri B.S.Ramanna, and is a grandabandh disciple of Ustad Shaikh Dawood. Presently he is learning vocal music under Shri Mahendra D Toke. He has to his credit several publications in both law and music.
