ABOUT THIS BOOK

Saki’s stories are beautifully varnished. Taut pieces of writing, resolving on a twist at the last sentence. They reflect the manners and attitudes of the Edwardian society, from the point of view of the sardonic insider, and are at times marked by shades of black humour. This collection presents some of his most popular stories, like The Open Window, The Hounds of Fate, and The Unrest Cure.

He also wrote several novels and plays
