A civil servant by profession, Manoj Singh is also the author of several books, including Chandrikotsav (Khand kavya); Bandhan, Kashamkash and Hostel ke Pannon Se (novels); Vyaktitav ka Prabhav and Chinta nahi Chintan (collection of articles) and Meri Pehchan (collection of short stories). Manoj Singh writes primarily in Hindi.
